Post number twenty... here goes:
|
G, Walter, and M, at Unity Park |
Unity Park is up on Kimball, nicely located in a beautiful stretch of Logan Square. We brought along guests parkers Walter (of recent Muppet fame), and Kim, who opted for enjoying the park, rather than critiquing it.
Let's rate it:
George Carlos - ★★★★★, "because there's one park, another park, and that park, and a water park. And, those like things, that spin around, those are faster than I ever got on one of those. And THAT'S why I gave it a five."
Máximo - ★★★★★, "because I really liked the zip lines, and that climbing things. And I liked the barfo machine, and I really liked the web thing."
So we're looking at a Five Star rating, all around, from these boys.
Let's see why.

Arrival. |
Web climbing things are in style in park equipment these days... all the rage. The most impressive example (that's we've experienced) being Julia de Burgos, which is now bordering the 606. But this one was rad nonetheless.
|
The web thing is pretty spectacular. |

GCVV and Walter, climbin. |

T'was a family affair. |
The item below is something we see, in variations, quite frequently, and we can only describe it as a "barfo machine," as its purpose (other than to make someone sick) is unclear.

The ole one-handed zip line move. |

Swings for K and G. |

Instruments are also common. |

Rings... the normal park fare. |

I got into some double zip line action too. |
An all around great park. Much to occupy idle children, and plenty to keep a parent entertained. It's clean and safe, and we highly recommend it if you're close.
